처음 듣는 이름이다. Quanta magazine에서 처음 보았다. 기사를 흥미있게 읽고 있는데 중간을 옮겨둔다.

2009년에 허(Huh)는 히로나카의 독려로 미국에 있는 십수개의 대학원에 지원했다. 그의 이력은 좋지 않은 편이었다. 그는 수학을 전공하지도 않았고, 대학원수준의 수업을 많이 들은것도 아니었으며, 그나마 그 수업들에서도 뛰어나지 못했다. 입학허가를 요구할만한 근거로는 히로나카의 추천서가 거의 전부였다. 거의 모든 입학사정위원회가 특별한 인상을 받지 못했다. 허는 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign을 제외하고 모두 떨어졌고, 2009년 가을에 그 학교에 입학하게 된다. ^[1]
